Scott Stevens
President/Tradesman

Since his father said motorcycles weren’t allowed on the property because they led to a lifestyle of being a hoodlum, he focused on hot rods after he outgrew his mini bike. This was fuelled by the fact that the coolest couple in the country moved into the neighbourhood. Mr. and Mrs. Deadman turned out some of the coolest rides using materials and talents at hand.

Provincially certified machinist, tool and die maker, and a self taught welder, Scott has worked in the tool and die industry for 25 years. He designs and builds stamping dies, jigs and fixtures primarily for the automotive industry.

In 1998, after a long hiatus of not riding a motorcycle, his wife bought him a brand new Harley for Christmas – a “Monster was unleashed”.

Loving a good challenge and experienced in machining and production, he began hanging his own parts on his motorcycles. This led to making parts for his friends and ultimately changing his tool and die shop into a custom motorcycle business. This all followed the strong encouragement from his wife who has successfully proven the fact that “you can run with big dogs, but you must first get off the porch!” Hence, Harnessgrinder Custom Rides Inc. was born.

Using modern technology and an interest in the “old school” styles of bike fashion, Harnessgrinder Custom Rides Inc. has a fresh look on some “old” products. Stay tuned for their release.
